Telemedicine / Tele-Rehabilitation Consent

Last updated: 30 May 2026

1. What an online consultation is

An online consultation (tele-rehabilitation) lets you consult Dr. Sunil Tank and our team by secure video or phone instead of visiting the clinic. It is suitable for many assessments, exercise progressions, posture and ergonomic advice, and follow-ups. By booking an online consultation you confirm you have read and agree to the points below.

2. Benefits and limitations

  • Convenient access without travel, and continuity of care between clinic visits.
  • Limitations: a remote session does not allow hands-on examination or manual therapy. Some conditions need an in-person assessment, imaging, or electrotherapy that cannot be delivered online.
  • Your physiotherapist may determine that an in-clinic visit or referral is required, and will tell you if so.

3. Not for emergencies

Online consultations are not for emergencies. If you have severe or worsening symptoms — including chest pain, breathlessness, loss of bladder/bowel control, sudden weakness or numbness, or a serious injury — call your local emergency number immediately.

4. Technology, privacy and recording

You will need a private space, a stable internet connection, and a device with a camera. Video links are provided per appointment. We treat your health information in line with our Privacy Policy and India's DPDP Act, 2023. Sessions are not recorded unless you give separate, explicit consent. Please do not record the session without our consent.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, complete information about your symptoms and medical history.
  • Perform exercises only within a safe, pain-tolerable range, and stop if symptoms sharply worsen.
  • Ensure a safe environment (clear space, stable support) during any movement assessment.

6. Fees, cancellations and consent to proceed

Consultation fees are shown at booking. By joining the session you consent to assessment and advice being provided remotely, and you understand the limitations described above. You may withdraw consent and request an in-person appointment at any time.
